Of all our resin-bound projects, Osborne House stands out as a personal favourite.
We were commissioned to resurface the access roads throughout the estate, a contract that required both technical precision and careful logistical planning. The works involved:
- Planing off the existing surface
- Laying a new base course and tarmacadam topcoat
- Finishing with a pristine 18mm layer of resin-bound surfacing
Due to the location, we transported heavy machinery and plant via ferry, while our team travelled daily by hovercraft and taxi to reach the site.
Despite the complexity, the challenge was met with enthusiasm, and the result exceeded all expectations.
The client was absolutely delighted, and we were proud to play a part in preserving the estate’s beauty. During the project, we had the rare opportunity to explore the historic grounds — a true privilege, and one of our proudest achievements to date.
